The History of Gems

“I don’t remember how I fell in love with beads.  For me, beading is a hobby that has evolved over 15 years.  My first pieces were made for myself, and often given as gifts to friends and family.  Eventually, I had too many pieces for myself, and it became time to either close up…or go to the public! It was then that I started to sell my jewelry:  craft shows, outdoor fairs, even a portable bulletin board set up in an office!”

“A small collection of beads soon found a home in a large fishing tackle box.  That same box exists today, along with multiple metal cases that are home to countless colours, shapes, sizes and textures of beads…and more beads!”

“While the beads and styles have changed, the concept of gEM’s has remained the same:  carefully arranged, original pieces of eye catching beauty for everyday enjoyment!”

Each gEM is a one of a kind, as I prefer to purchase individual gemstones…so if you see something that you like, make sure that you buy it before someone else does!”
